Webinar | Insights on Fuel Demand Aggregation for Sustainable Maritime Fuels

The Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping presented an overview of the results from the latest phase of our fuel demand aggregation project. This webinar aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of how demand aggregation can contribute to  the uptake of sustainable fuels within the maritime sector, and offer valuable insights into the frameworks necessary for the successful implementation of demand aggregation.

Watch this webinar and:

  • Understand the setup designed by the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping for a fuel demand aggregation entity, including its strengths when addressing competition law concerns.

  • Examine the limitations of a capital-light aggregation framework, and the implications for how to best catalyse an increase in upstream production.

  • Explore the solutions that would need to be put in place to enable a fuel demand aggregator to underpin anchor offtake for financing new-build production facilities.
