Member States have submitted four proposals to amend the IMO Net-Zero Framework (NZF), which go before the next Intersessional Working Group on Reduction of GHG Emissions from Ships (ISWG-GHG 22) in September.
Decision makers need clear, evidence-based analysis of what each proposal contains and what it would mean in practice. Using our open-source simulation model, Navigate, the Center has modeled the potential impact of each proposal on emissions, fuel mix, and costs.
In this one-hour webinar, our experts introduce the four proposals, share insights from the Center's modeling, and give an update on the IMO process and the development of Guidelines.
To accommodate participants across time zones, the webinar will be held twice with the same content.
